* Audience measurement and statistics (Umami): To analyze traffic on this site and improve its content, I use Umami, an ethical and privacy-respecting open-source solution. Umami does not drop any cookies on your device and does not collect any personally identifiable data. IP addresses are cryptographically anonymized, making your identification impossible. Our tool also respects your browser's "Do Not Track" header. Legal basis: the publisher's legitimate interest in measuring its site's audience (CNIL consent exemption).
* Contact form: If you send me a message via the form, I collect the information you voluntarily provide (your name, your email address, and the content of your message). This data is used solely to respond to you by email. Legal basis: Your consent.
* Connection logs (Server logs): The site host automatically collects technical connection data (IP address, browser, time of visit). This data is essential for cybersecurity reasons (detection of attacks, denial of service) and network routing. Legal basis: Compliance with a legal obligation and legitimate interest (site security).
3. Data Retention Period
Your data is kept only for the time necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
* Audience data (Umami): Statistical data (completely anonymous) is kept for a maximum of 13 months.
* Contact form messages: Kept in my inbox for the time needed to process your request, and kept for a maximum of 3 years in the absence of new exchanges.
* Server logs: Kept by the host for a maximum legal period of 12 months.
4. Data Sharing and Hosting
Your data is never sold, rented, or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It may only pass through the following technical services (subcontractors), which are strictly necessary for the operation of the site:
* Vercel Inc.: Website hosting and security log management.
* Resend: Secure routing service allowing emails to be sent from the contact form to my inbox.
5. Cookie Management
This site has made the strong choice not to use advertising trackers or intrusive analytical tools. Consequently, no cookies requiring your consent are dropped on your browser during your visit. This is why you are not interrupted by a consent banner ("cookie pop-up") when browsing here.
